Little Cotton Clothes was founded by sisters Imogen and Leonie after becoming mothers themselves. Looking for clothing that felt timeless, practical, and well made, they decided to create their own.
The brand grew from that personal need and remains guided by the same values today.
Inspired By Childhood Memories
The brand draws much of its inspiration from the sisters’ own upbringing in the English countryside. Memories of hand-me-downs, dresses sewn by their mother, and clothes made to last still influence every collection.
This sense of nostalgia is not about recreating the past, but about holding onto what felt meaningful. Familiar shapes, gentle colours, and classic details are reimagined for modern children.
Designed Slowly and with Intention
Each collection begins long before production. Colours are chosen because they feel right, not because they are trending. Fabrics and prints are developed carefully, and designs are refined over time.
From the first idea to the final garment, the process can take many months. This slower pace allows space for thoughtful decisions and ensures that each piece feels considered rather than rushed.
Little Cotton Clothes works with a small number of family-run factories in India and Turkey. These partners are carefully chosen and ethically audited to ensure fair and respectful working conditions.
Production is kept intentionally limited. By making small quantities, the brand avoids overproduction and excess stock, keeping waste to a minimum and quality high.
Natural Fabrics Only
The brand uses natural fibres such as cotton and linen, selected for their comfort, breathability, and durability. These fabrics are chosen not only for how they look, but for how they feel and how they wear over time.
The clothing is designed to be washed, worn, and lived in. Pieces that feel light, comfortable, and easy for both children and parents.
