About The Singing Toes
The Singing Toes is a kidswear boutique located in the heart of Amsterdam, facing Blauwburgwal, the city’s shortest canal. A quiet place, slightly hidden, in a neighbourhood that invites you to slow down.
We opened our doors in the spring of 2024 with a simple idea in mind: to create a space where childhood is respected, celebrated, and dressed with care.
Where the Name Comes From
One rainy day, I took my daughter to the park. She was wearing a blue rain suit with red ladybirds and a pair of red boots. She couldn’t speak much yet, but she was full of joy. She started running, playing, and singing — her own melody, loud and free, in the rain.
That image never left me. Her happiness, her movement, her voice before words. The name of the store was born from that memory.
A Space for Mothers and Babies
Beyond clothing, The Singing Toes is also a place of care.
We are proud to be the only boutique in the area offering a private space for breastfeeding, resting, and changing diapers. A quiet corner where mothers can pause, take their time, and feel supported.
We believe shopping with a baby should not feel rushed or stressful. We are here to help, listen, and support all mothers, in whatever way we can.
